    Hello,

In the Agent Config settings you can chose which protocols to control, including FTP.

Concerning screen capture, DLP (since 14v) can block the PrintScreen button. Also configured through Agent Config. If activated, you can assign a response rule to the FTP protocol to block the action of certain Policy.

I am not aware of a possibility to block/allow temporarily a Policy (or Response Rule) natively. Unless you use some script.

    Regards,

    Hi Morgada,

Thanks for the comment..can you also confirm if DLP endpoint installed with all the policy applied to it than harddrive remove from that machine and connected to another computer in slave, in that case data can be accessable.

    kindly confirm.

In such case the information won't be protected. Because the DLP won't be running.. therefore the data can be extracted. To protect the hard drive you can use other Symantec solution (PGP) to encrypt the disk. Doing that if someone removes the hard disk to other machine would need the encryption keys to mount it.
