Hi Guys,

I need to know if Symantec DLP supports Chain of Custody and how it does that? Is it possible to integrate third party forensic tools with Symantec DLP?

No,

It is not possible.

You can integrate only symantec supported DLP products like

SSIM, CCS these are some products which can do enough forensics.

I'm not an expert when it comes to chain of custody, but everytime a change is made to an incident that is logged in the history of the incident and is found in the "History" tab of that incident.

There are ways to integrate with other tools, including non-Symantec tools, either through the API or sending that data to something like a SIM.

Hope that helps,
