  • 1.  DLP version 11 release date?

    Heard from a Symantect SE that DLP version 11 is targeted for Jan 2011 (was Dec 2010). Can anyone confirm this? Has anyone been testing beta or pre-release code?

    I have heard the same thing, DLP 11 release in January.  There is a beta available of DLP 11 and you would need to contact your DLP/Symantec rep for more information about this

    I can second this as well.  I have heard the release is January 2011.  I'm a beta tester.

    I am also a beta tester and during our testing of the version 11 product our deployment was on Windows 2008 R2 64-bit servers. So the final release should support 2008 R2.

    Windows 2008 R2 will not be supported in version 11.

    Windows Server 2008 R2 is supported in the coming release of DLP 11 - but only for 64 bit.

    Windows Server 2003 Enterprise will only be supported with 32 bit.

    I actually heard it was the first half of 2011 (per the Symantec twitter handle) on 1/13.
