  • 1.  DLP Web Prevent and FortiGate

    Greetings,

     
    I have reviewed the official documentation and the FortiGate is not listed as a supported Web Proxy product. However, I can see it has support for ICAP servers as per its official documentation at http://docs-legacy.fortinet.com/fos50hlp/50/index.html#page/FortiOS%25205.0%2520Help/other-new-features.019.11.html
     
    I would like to know if:
     
    1) Is Fortigate an official supported Web Proxy produduct (2014)
    2) Has anyone deployed Network Web Prevent with a Fortigate as a Web Proxy?

    Hi,

    Fortigate is not supported, you can find supported proxies here:

    We did in depth testing with both proxy modes in Fortigate, but it is not 100% working.

    There are issues on detection in HTTPS connections and forwarding authenticaton data to DLP as well. We notified Fortigate to improve their ICAP implementation.
