  • 1.  Do MACS still need to get Definitions from Liveupdate.Symantecliveupdate.com

    I stood up a internal Live Update Server as not to saturate our pipe when clients grab updates directly from the outside.

    Has symantec finally fixed things, and with the latest RU for SEP12, can I now update my MACS A/V defs using my SEPM?

    Unfortunately no changes here in 12.1 RU2 version - still only Symantec Liveupdate Servers or LUA is an option. Maybe with a future release...

    If you looking to limit the update traffic outside maybe the mentioned LUA would be a solution till that time:

    "Thumbs up" to Sebastian's comment.  I use my LUA 2.3.2 here to keep my Macs up-to-date: it works fine.
