  • 1.  Do the SEP tasks on 7.1 tasks/scripts from the base install work for SEP 12?

    We have sep 12 and attempt to run the "repair symantec endpoint protection" script and it immediatly fails, even outside of Altiris.

    Looking over the script I am not familiar with javascript but it appears it is calling for registry keys and folders that may not exist, so I was wondering if these scripts are supposed to be valid for SEP 12 or just an older version of SEP?

    we called support on this one and they verified my thoughts.  The task that is part of 7.1 is not for SEP 12
