We have a new resource available to help those Symantec Endpoint Protection users plan for a successful migration when migrating to the latest version of SEP.

Migrating from Symantec AntiVirus or Symantec Client Security to Symanted Endpoint Protection 12.1 or later

Please let us know if you find this helpful or have any suggestions.

In one of our clients place they had SAV and wanted to migrate to SEP 12.1.2 , what i did was installed SEPM and started deploying clients using remote push it worked fine without any issues and all the clients are communicating. Its very simple and you will not experience a single issue and the clients were more than 250.

Hi Samir,

Hope you did a fresh SEPM installation and then remote installation of clients. But SAV is supported for migration. you should have went for the migration proceedure, would have been good and much easrier.
