Hello Everyone,

Does any one tried the Symantec PGP Netshare integration with Symantec Data Loss Prevention option with ERM service?

I tried to do implement this feature. I am able to install, configure the ERM service which does the automatic PGP Netshare encryption for the sensitive data with the keys. But i am unable to test this feature or unable to understand the log file location for the ERM service to check whether it is working properly or not.

Please help me out.

Raja,

How is the intergration going for you. I am attempting to do this as well, and running into a wall.

Can you offer any tips?

Thanks

Hi,

We completed this integration for a PoC a couple of weeks ago.  Ended up opening a case with both DLP and PGP support for this.  The documentation provided walks you throught the process of configuring the flex response for discover but it does not mention that the PGP side has to be configure to allow the end user to manage their own certificates.  ERM can only work with certificates that are stored locally thus it fails when you try to apply the DLP flex response and the certificate is on the Universal Server.  This and following the documentaion helpd me a lot.

Hope this helps

The integration between PGP Netshare and DLP depends on your scenario. Do you want to use under DLP Network Discover, or, for DLP agent?
