I apologize if this information is available elsewhere... searches couldn't bring it up.

Does Symantec Anti-Virus for Linux scan files for Windows and Mac viruses as well?

    Hi mabu_EO,

Brian is correct.  SEP's definitions and detection engines do not care what platform they are running on- they'll react to all known threats for all OSes.  If you have a Windows/Mac/Linux file server for example, SEP will catch any Windows/Mac/Linux threats that it can detect and keep those from harming any machine in your mixed environment.

Please do update the thread with news if this has answered your question!

    With thanks and best regards,

    Hi mabu_EO,

Just checking if there was anything else you needed?  This thread is still marked "needs solution."

    All the best,
