    Dear All,

I have used the Create User object to create an AD User and the user goes into the Users OU. So far, so good.

Next, I use the Add User to Organisational Unit object to move the user into another OU, but I cannot move the user any deeper than 1 OU.

I have an AD OU structure of:

    Users
    Users\Management
    Users\Technicians

I can move the user into the Users OU, but when I say:

    Users\Management or Users/Management

it does not work. Does anyone know how to do this?

    Thanks in Advance.

    Kindest regards,

Did you change the "Container Type" to "Organization Unit" on the context tab.  Then specify the "Organization Path" on the context tab to be Users.  Then on the Input tab  just specify the name of your sub OU ex (Managment).

I think you can also change:

    Container Option to Specify
    Set "Custom Container" to "CN=Users"
Then on the Input tab  just specify the name of your sub OU ex (Managment).

I tried to find the project I did this in but no luck.  But I think this is how I did it.

    Good Luck.

    Bondo,

Yes, thanks. I had not set the Container Type to be "Organisational Unit" in the Context tab. As soon as I saw what you said, instead of creating the user and then moving the user to the OU, I just created the user in the right OU of "Users\Managment" (correct format).

Interestingly, I did NOT need the LDAP "CN=" notation in the Organisational Unit.
