Does ESM required license to upgrade from v9.0 to 10.0

Dear all,
I need answers for below questions on urgent basis. Please advice
1. I have licenses for esm v9.0 (10 manager & 12000 agents) i needs to procure another 4000+ agent licenses for expansion. When i try to place order through my procurement team. They replied me with quotation for V10. Can i install V10 agent license with V9.0 manager?
2. If No is answer for Q1, Does Symantec have any upgrade licenses for V 9.0 to 10.0.

Hi Shivaji,
I have a license file (.slf) that reads "Enterprise Security Manager 10 Product Activation" - I'm using an ESM 10 console but some of my managers are 9.x and I'm able to allocate units from my "10 license" to my 9 managers. So - in order to use a 10 license you might need the 10 console but since thats backward compatible with 9 managers - you can still do what you want.
