Does an Incident always have a Submitter in the ReportProcessContact table?
I need some help. The background is that I'm concerned about data corruption, and trying to get an idea of what has happened. In doing so, I came across 4,000+ Incidents in the ServiceDeskIncidentManagement table with no submitter record in the ReportProcessContact table. When I say "submitter", I mean the ReportProcessContact.ContactType is either "Submitter", "Affected User and Submitter", or "Email Submitter".
My question is this: Will a "Submitter" record be created in the ReportProcessContact table for each and every Incident that is created (in the ServiceDeskIncidentManagement table)?
I'm looking for some reassurance that I'm actually looking at a problem, or if this normal behavior?
