Does it possible automatically restore data from BE?

This issue has been solved. See solution.

We use Backup Exec 2010 R2, and there is a issue I need some help. The question is, does it possible automatically restore data from BE? When users ask me to restore data, the steps are as follows:

1. search catalogs to find data, record path and time

2. view by resource and choose the files to restore data to specified restore drive

I wonder if there is any API could automatically do above steps. In other words, users only need to provide which data he wants to restore, API will automatically find data and restore data to specified restore drive. Thus, he can easily obtain the data, and there is no one needs to click any button calling BE do it.

p.s: I am not familiar about tape backup software, if this question is stupid, please forgive me.

Its not possible to automate you would need to know the restore selections to setup a restore job at the first place .

Edit  :If you want to restore the whole server you can use the  Intelligent Disaster Recovery (IDR) Wizard
