This issue has been solved. See solution.

Hi all,

I checked that in SEP 12.1 RU1 do support SQL Server 2000.

http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH174720

However, in SEP 12.1 RU4, SQL Server 2000 is removed.

May I know if 12.1 RU4 no longer support SQL Server 2000 anymore?

Thanks and Regards,

Hello,

SQL 2000 support was dropped in SEP 12.1 RU2.  We dropped support for SQL 2000 at the same time we added support for SQL 2012.

Hope that helps!!

Upgrade away, Rao!  &: )  Without the database, the SEPM cannot function.  A company's security infrastructure should not depend upon a product that went out of support years ago.

With thanks and best regards,
