  • 1.  Does the SEPM service or DB depend on logon domain account when installation

When new setup SEPM server, we use a domain account to logon the W2K8 server, and run setup to install SEPM. Reivew the installation process, we are not asked to input any domain ID and PWD during installation. May we know if any service depend on this domain account? Can we change the domain password without any impact to SEPM services or Embedded DB?

    Hi,

You can change the password but keep in mind that You are not configured to use it for replication between SEPM's and Directory service syncing.
