    mssudduth,

here are my thoughts, Access is not officially supported, i have had access db's show up in discover scans for servers. these where mdb extensions, i would see if you can convert it which are older.

are you using access to "access" the data and it has a sql back end? or is it a true access db?

What I have seen while running scans is that you should be able to see access databases with extensions MDB.  The newest version of access changed the extension to something like MSACCESSDb (something like that).  That particular version cannot be read.

You don't need to create a SQL target to scan access.  It'll be read as a file within the file system you scan.

    Hope this helps.

Yes all .MDB files are analyzed by Verity:

filter: error code returned is KVERR_Success

Rather, it is not possible to analyze  access 2007 files (.ACCDB)

If instead you mean if is it possible to scan as a DB target, yes by using JDBC_ODBC Bridge Driver (Ref. sqldatabasecrawler.properties).
