I've been trying to restore an image of a Citrix server (W2k3) using GSS 1.1 ghost server 8.3. When restoring the image (straight restore over the top of the original hardware), all of the domain accounts on the restored server are missing. The local accounts are still there but they no longer have the same profile settings as before. Forgive my lack of knowledge but I thought that Ghost was a straight 'block level' imaging utility (I'm not cloning to another box so I don't think I need to sysprep). Surely, the disk contents should be preserved during the restore?
