    Hello All,

I'm using GUP in my environment..

I have a limit for 95kbps for GUPs to use the bandwidth to download updates from the Manager...

Recently, I changed an option to all clients, if can not get update from GUP, goes directly to Manager to download.(Maximum time that clients try...)

It resolved a lot of problems.. it is great!!!, but I have a doubt...

These clientes that are going to Manager to download.. Will they go use the same rule of bandwidht? Or they will use all avaliable bandwidth?

If not, a good idea will be to have an option to set the bandwidht too...

    Thanks,

    Diego

This setting applies ONLY to the GUP.

There is no option as of now for the SEPM.

This setting is applicable only for downlading through GUP.

    Hello

Best practise and my advice is that if your network bandwidth is low then revoke the setting because i have faced the network chock up issue due to the same setting.

This setting applies only to download to GUP - there is no way to limit downloads from SEPM to clients in 12.1. In SEPM 11.x you could set up a bandwith throttle from IIS.

This setting applies ONLY to the GUP, so the clients will use available bandwidth if it is not able to receive updates from GUP…

So in my opinion please do not go for this setting util and unless you have a good bandwidth..
