I worked with SEPM RU5,  I did the upgrade to the RU6 some hours ago but now the console is working pretty slow, do you know what the reason can be ? I was thinking in doing a downgrade to the RU5 again, is that possible ? If it is, how can be done ?

    Thanks in advance

Before upgradting to RU6  did you took a backup of the DB

If yes then Uinstall RU6 and restore the prevoius back up.

There is no way to easily downgrade.

Unless you saved a copy of the RU5 database and are willing to blow the RU6 DB away and create a new DB and then restore the old RU5 data back... :-(

We are anxiously waiting for RU6 MP1 (any day now) to fix the RU6a issues.

P.S. Here is one person who did downgrade: https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/forums/sep-1106-ru6-xp-sluggishness-false-warnings-corrupted-files-during-chkdsk

Yes I have got a DB backup when using RU5, in order to uninstall RU6 and install RU5 again, do I have to follow the disaster recovery procedure ?

I restarted the SEPM service and now is working well, I'll continue testing  RU6 if it starts getting slow I'll downgrade to RU5. Thanks !
