  • 1.  Downloaded SEPM 12.1; but need 12.1 RU1

    I currently have SEPM 11.0 RU7 installed on 1 server and deployed out to ~ 25 clients.

    Just purchased SEPM 12 and sales person sent me a link to 12.1 and I've downloaded it.  (see text from invoice below):


    Symantec Endpoint Protection 12.1 License + 36 Months Basic Support


    Now that I'm starting to read up on migrating from 11 to 12 it seems that you can't directly migrate to 12.1 from 11.0 RU7; have to wait for 12.1 RU1.  My question is...how do I go about getting RU1?   Is it available now?

    Hello Marsha,

    It is available now on Fileconnect. Please try logging into Fileconnect again with your SEP 12.1 serial number and you should see it there.

    What's the name of the file that you downloaded? You may have 12.1 RU1.

    URL for FileConnect is: https://fileconnect.symantec.com

    You will need a serial number (Mxxxxxxxxxx) to get past the guard dog!

    Filename is Symantec_Endpoint_Protection_12.1.zip.   It's 3.5GB.

    I received the certificate today via email so I have the M#.
