Downloading Backup_Exec_2012_14.0_SP1_MultiPlatforms_Multilingual.zip.2of2
Purchased renewal licenses and received confirmation from symantec.elicensing@symantec.com. When clicking on the link here, https://fileconnect.symantec.com/dispatch, I am attempting to download the file in the subject line plus the .1of2 file and the .cmd file.
The .2of2 file states 100% in the File transfer dialogue, however the two remaining files in the Queue section have not begun to process. Upon further investigation, although the file size for 2of2 is listed as 932,201.59 KB in the file list, I find that the file continues to grow on my machine, currently approaching 1,530,000 KB and climbing. Is this the sign of a corrupt file, misinformation on the download page or something else entirely?
A little under the gun here as I have until Thursday to get this update in place prior to expiration.
Any guidance or previous experiences that might be helpful are greatly appreciated. Server is 2008 R2, download is being run from a Windows 7 SP1 device.
Thanks,
Kevin Watson

Don't forget to give a "Thumbs Up" or Mark as "Solution" if someones advice has helped you.
You can go to www.backupexec.com, click on BE in the trialware section and down the entire BE 2012 installation DVD. This is the same file as in fileconnect.
It is better to use the DVD that comes in one piece. Downloading parts of the DVD and joining them often results in unusable DVD.
I was able to download the files with the HTTP format instead of the File Manager format and successfully installed the licenses and am now set for another year. The update/upgrade process was actually quite painful this year and I am hopeful that this is not the case in the upcoming years.
