1)what are the possible troubleshooting steps to do when a drive goes to the AVR mode?

2)In IBM TS3500 TL having how many of drives & Slots?

1) Add VERBOSE entry to all media servers accessing the robot. Restart NBU.
All device-related activities and errors will now be logged in Windows Event Viewer Application Log or in Unix/Linux syslog (e.g. /var/log/messages on Linux).

2) Run 'scan' (in ....volmgr/bin) on robot control host.

Supporting Storage Foundation and VCS on Unix and Windows as well as NetBackup on Unix and Windows
