Are there any best practise's regarding driver management and the DeployAnywhere solution?

Let's say I would like to use the DeployAnywhere database for all drivers (audio, video, NIC, chipset etc), for about 100 different computer models, is that recommended, are there other methods available for these scenarios?

When the driver database has to cover up to 100+ models I assume conflicts may occur, experiences anyone?

Yes, I have read that

Yes, I have read that article, however, it does not contain any information regarding the maximum number of drivers considered "best practise" which You should not exceed. In SCCM, lots of people suggest not to use driver database deployment method when having more than about 15-20 computer models, and instead use driver package method.
