DS 6.9, how to deploy a image from HP PC to DELL PC?

Hi,
I use Altiris DS 6.9 sp3.
I need to use standard image for all PCs, HP or DELL.
I created a Image from HP PC and want to deploy it to DELL PC. I tried to deploy the image and drives, but the DELL PC failed to started up after image deployment.
Can someone give me help about it?

Hardware Independent Imaging is a process
There could be many issues here. Different HALS, certainly different drivers. You need to investigate Hardware Independent Imaging and using Sysprep.
Some helpful articles include - SP3 is out (from this site), Altiris KB44315 - using DeployAnywhere, Altiris KB 21224 - Hardware Independent Imaging.
Sysprep is a Microsoft Utility, but most of the useful options are discussed in the other articles.
