    Altiris Deployment Server 6.9 (Build 430) SP3
    Windows Server 2008 SP2

We use vbs scripts to install applications, when deploying a 'Run Script' job to a Windows 2008 Server, using 'Default (local system account)' the job at the Altiris DS end says it run successfully after 1 second. On the Windows 2008 Server end the job flashes up in Task Manager for 1 second then stops. The Altiris agent says the job had been executed.

We know the scripts are good because we can run them manually on the server and the apps install fine. (After manually mapping the F drive)

We want to use 'Default (local system account) rather than 'Specific User' and 'Console User session' as we deploy a number of jobs to the servers at one time. However the jobs run fine as 'Specific User' and 'Console User session'.

Other type of jobs appear to run evening some 'Run Script' jobs that don't reference the mapped F drive.
Within Control Panel > Altiris Deployment Server > Options > Drive Mappings we have set F: to \\(DSServer)\express

There appears to be a known issue when deploying jobs to Vista (KB49390), we are having exactly the same issue but on Windows 2008 Server.
I have done as per the article and upgraded the AClient to v6.9.440 which has made no difference to us.
