  • 1.  DS 6.9 SP4 with ASDK 1.4

    I am trying to use the ASDK with the DS and can't get it to work at all.  I keep getting a HTTP 500 error for each component I try.  I have tried enabling anonymous access for the asdk site, but no luck.  I have even tried installing a hot fix.  I am really trying to integrate it with Workflow, but i need it to work first without Workflow.  Any help is much appreciated.

    Ok, so I did figure out how to get the ASDK working.  I checked the logs and found: "Unhandled exception.  Type=Altiris.ASDK.ASDKInsufficientPermissionException Msg=Error: Could not authenticate Deployment Solution user." 

    I turned off security and it started working correctly.  Is there any way to bypass/fix this security?

    Not sure what I did, but turning on and off the security to test it, appears to have fixed it...?  I had been turning it off while I was testing and turning it off when I was done.  Eventually I forgot to turn off the security and everything worked. ... not sure what I actually did to fix it though.
