Deployment Solution

Hello,

I'm currently working on deploying Windows 7 Professional x64 w/ SP1.  I am currently having some issues when running scripts or software installs on the machines after imaging them.  I'll drop a job on the machine and I'll see that it ran but it never shows that it finished in the console.  I've set the job to run using Admin credentials and it still does it.

Aside from that, if the machine is already joined to our domain then the image works great with the unattend.xml and it re-joins the domain.  If it is a new machine I don't get it to join the Domain - I have to run a separate Config job to do that.  Any way I can automate that correctly to join the domain regardless?

I have the same problem in SP4. Sometimes machines would not join the domain even with teh correct nic in place. You would have to manually join it to the domain for the job to complete. Guess is that there will not be much attension payed to the 6.x platform anymore. So it's either upgrade and deal with the new bugs or switch to another product for OOB deployment.

just do a Add "modifyconfigiration" in the same jobb, and make it run as task nr. 2 in same job, works for me.
