We are currently running  RHEL 5.8 with DS 7.1 and would like to switch to Centos. Does DS 7.1 support Centos.

I know Centos is basically redhat so just wondering what are the impacts?

Hello DerekWarner,

CentOS is not officially supported. but it may work if filesystem & folder structure is similar to rhel5.x

Check if create/deploy image works for it.

Thanks,
Sachin

Officially NO SUPPORT, but ....

Imaging and other tasks should work.

ASC could have some issues.

SOI will not work.

not officially.

Imaging will not work if you have a RAID configuration. Now you could script your way around though.

what tasks are you looking for?

I was able to modify a Linux PXE image. PXE booting from it starts a CentOS install using a kickstart file.
