  • 1.  DS 7.1 not recognizing Dell T5610 with MegaRaid sas9721-8i

    We are trying to image a Dell T5610 with a MegaRaid sas9721-81 running CENTOS 6.5

    The machine pxe boots fine, once a "create image" task is scheduled, we get the following error

    Abort 11032 No valid source drive found to use.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    missing storage drivers in BootWiz/ BDC for that system.  You'll need to either add them to BDC, or inject them into the WIM directly.  It looks to me that the array or whatever is in the system doesn't have a native driver in WinPE 2.

    Another option is to upgrade to 7.5, or use 6.9 SP6, and get PE4, which might have native driver support for that model.

    We are using 7.5. I was finally able to image a linux system using WIN-PE. Wierd why the linux automation environment didnt work but the windows pre-boot on a linux system did.
