  • 1.  DS 7.1 SP1 capture personality task for corrupted OS

    i have define a pc transplant template to capture the following:

    - computer name (network tab)

    - internet favorites, desktop, my documents and pictures (folders tab)

     

    what if the OS of the target computer for this task is corrupted?

    will the data can be captured successfully or not?

     

    response will be highly appreciated. thank YOU!

    Hello Marilou

    Well it all depends. If we cannot boot to windows then definetly the answer is no.

    If we can then it depens on what particular parts of the HDD or OS is corrupted, long answer short there is no answer for you're question. Only way to be sure is try and fail/succeed.
