  • 1.  DS 7.1 SP1 to DS 7.5 Upgrade

    Hello. I have just been notified of the release of DS 7.5. I currently have DS7.1 and have a pre-upgrade question.

    is there anything that i need to perform prior to the upgrade using the SIM? (apart from a good backup)

    Is the correct way to upgrade this to open SIM > Click Upgrade installed products > Click next to upgrade the installation.

    I have attached a screenshot of the process which I will follow.

    Please can someone confirm these actions are good.

    One thing i failed to backup, images.  I had backed them up for past upgrades and I dont know why I didnt this time.  It appears as though the 7.1 deployment share gets blown away as part of the upgrade process.  See my forum thread here:
