Is there a Deployment Console for Linux (Ubuntu)?  I would like to change out my OS from Windows to Linux (Ubuntu) and was wondering if there is such a thing.

Not aware of one

You should be able to use the web console though.  The few things that I tried seemed to work in Firefox.

No, but there are other options

No, Deployment Solution is a Windows only product.  If you don't want to use the web console you could always run the Deployment Console remotely on a small VM using virtualbox.  That way you don't get any performance hit for running on a VM (since the app is actually running on a physical Windows Box) and you can use "Seamless Mode" to make it seem like almost a native linux application.  You could also try wine, I know it didn't work to host the installation, but it may work to run the console remotely.
