DS6.9 SP3 is Windows 7 compatible but its a little crude as the create images and deploy images is still more for XP in my opinion.
The purpose of this product is to be AUTOMATED, so I hope in the upcoming Service Pack 4 it becomes that way and is more user friendly.
I have used the rdeploy and dos imaging and deploying images without touching a computer but only once and that was to boot it to PXE when finished it would be named (what I want it to be) and on the domain with all applications. Also I have mass deployed 50 to 60 computers at once using muticasting.
Now with Windows 7 and sysprep it seems to be friendly to only image one computer at a time and touch each one several times to get it named (what I want) and on the domain. I would like to do all this in one step and in mass.
Altiris (Symantec) blames alot on Sysprep but if they could incorporate a post configuration with user input  boxes certain items like computer name, domain name, etc, you could do several computers using the same image and each would be named what you want and on the domain and we would only need to make a answer file to do all the rest.
Also I understand if dagent is on a computer when it is imaged it deletes the setupcomplete.cmd file before it gets a chance to run  so if they could fix that it would be great.
Does anyone agree with me or am I completely wrong?

If anyone knows how to image windows 7 computers in mass using multicasting I am very interested.
