  • 1.  DS7.1 Client deploy error.

    Hello. I am facing an issue when trying to deploy clients to machines in a work group, or on another domain. The error that I am receiving is:

    Failed to logon using the Admin Account; Access to the network resorce was denied.

    Is there a place where I can add in the alternate credentials for the workgroup machines/ or machines in other domains?

    1. Actions > Agents/Plug-ins > Push Symantec Management Agent
    2. Click Settings
    3. Provide a new username/password to use instead of the application identity and click OK.
    4. Select the agents to roll to and click OK.

    Hi thanks for your reply, that does answer my question. I have seen this many times but the penny didnt drop.

    I was thinking of trying to add the account via

    settings > security > account management

    then specifying the account there.
