Duplicate Assets

Hi All,
Is there any way to remove a duplicate or 2 assets that has been assigned to one user.
My Helpdesk shows 2 assets when selecting from a drop down.

Hello, Rahiz, the short answer is yes; however, before you delete a duplicated record is more important to figure out how it got duplicated. That being said, are there multiple records for this asset in the managed_object table? If so, does all the data match up exactly? (i.e. asset tag, serial number) If a duplicate exists on the NS side there is a chance that the duplication will be mirrored on the Helpdesk side.

How can i removed the duplicated Asset. Because that is getting mirrorred on Helpdesk. How can i remove it from Helpdesk also.

In asset Management you can marge two assets into one - i am not sure how it will affect Helpdesk Database, maybe only one will stay, the second can be inactive.
