Duplication Job: Required media is in use

This issue has been solved. See solution.

I have a problem that recently started and wonder if anyone has any ideas on this that could help. The duplication jobs that run have suddenly started only allowing 1 active job to run instead of the configured 3. It is showing a message "Required Media is in use" under the status details. What is confusing me is that all forums/notes i have seen say about finding the media idea and releasing it as the resource broker may have allocated it (or something like that).

None of the jobs that are sat with this Required media is in us status tell me what media it is after. This is what i see in the job detail;

09/04/2013 07:59:01 - requesting resource LCM_viacpnb02-hcart-robot-tld-0

  Robot Number: 0, Robot Type: TLD, Media ID: N/A, Drive Name: N/A,
  Volume Pool: NetBackup, Storage Unit: viacpnb02-hcart-robot-tld-0, Drive Scan Host: N/A

As you can see no media id is detailed which is not helping in trying to figure out what the heck is going on.

This morning when everything was stopped (i had deactivated the duplication jobs in the storage lifecycle policy) i did a restart of NBU just incase it needed a boot. When it came back, it looked to work as 3 duplication jobs started but then when they finished this problem showed up again.

So i wonder if anyone has any clues on what could be causing this and possible solutions? Any help would be appreciated.

how many active/avaliable tapes you have in your Netbackup volume pool?

again when its showing the same statsu.. run the nbrbutil -dump  and attach to this thread, with the details of Job ids.

Thanks for the reply firstly. And now i am going to show my ignorance when it comes to NBU (having never touched it really before and not been allowed to go on training courses). I didnt even check the media as didnt know how to see what media was full or not. But found the available_media command and ran that and what do you know. All the media is showing as FULL now. It doesnt help that the media in the scratch pool is not acutally in the tape library otherwise i would of hoped NBU would of pulled them across .

I would guess thats the problem.

So sorry for wasting peoples time and thannks again for mentioning in your comment about media, that triggered me to go looking at that.
