during 2nd phase of import i am getting (190) found no images or media matching the selection criteria this error.
Please suggest on this.
Check you did all the steps correctly.
This TN shows exacly how to do the import.
I have done all this which mentioned in this TN.
Ist phase completed successfully but when i started 2nd phase i am getting the above mentioned error.
Plesae help me out.
The usual cause, is that the data range is not set correctly - step 4 and 5 in the TN.
From the results tab, you will se some backupids it found in the phase 1, take one of the ctimes and run ...
bpdbm -ctime <ctime>
This will show the date of that backup. Make sure the dates selected start before this date and end after it.
Make sure all the other options are set to 'All'
If this still doesn't work, can you confirm for 100% it found some that needs importing. What exactly do the results for the phase 1 show.
Is it possible that the images on this tape already exist ? That would explain why it doesn't find anything.
If after all above still no luck, find the header file :
Look in :
/usr/openv/netbackup/db/images/<first 4 digits of ctime and 6 zeros>
eg. if the backup header is womble_1334765656 it would be ..
Look for the file with the <ctime> in the name that does not end in .f
Post that file up here ...

May be a moot point but, you may want to check that the images dont already exist in the current catalog.
