E6410 RDeploy: The operation was cancelled

I am stuck with this new  Dell E6410.  I get the noted error with Status 2. My image does span 2 files but I am not having this issue on any of the older models like E6500, D830 etc.  BIOS version is A03 and I can PXE boot to WinPE, I get IP address, computer pops into the console. The failure is almost immediate. Tried changing the SATA operation, disabling devices incase there was something hogging my "F" drive with same result. Pretty much stumped with this one. Going to try to nuke the disk as these do have some dell partitions that may be causing the issue.

Netware?

I found this article on a problem with the boot disk trying to map a Netware drive. Not sure if that's the case but its worth a look.

Dell Partitions Problem

I think you'll find that once you nuke the disk your problems will go away. We had the same issue.

WinPE?

Are you using WinPE?  If so, the default express mapping is "F:".  You'll find if you keep your DVD drive out of the laptop, it eliminates one drive, which might be enough to allow your express share mapping to be F:.  Otherwise, rebuild your PXE image and move your express mapping further down the alphabet (I use I:).

I second nuking the partitions. Removing them works like a charm.
