Easiest Creation Of Reports On Credit Card and Social Security Numbers?

Created: 24 Mar 2013 • Updated: 25 Mar 2013 | 2 comments
This issue has been solved. See solution.

DLP is being rolled out starting with two 11.6.2  detection servers (Network Monitor and Endpoint Discover).  The High Tech solution pack has been imported into the system.

After the 2 discover servers are configured and DLP endpoint agents installed, what is the most simple way to create reports on social security numbers and credit card numbers found on endpoints and social security numbers and credit card numbers transmitted out of the network over HTTP, SMTP and FTP?

More things will be monitored in the future and Network Prevent for E-Mail, a web proxy to monitor HTTPS and Endpoint Prevent will also be added in the future to block and do other more complicated actions, but to start, we just need a quick and easy set up daily reports.

you can create a policy specific to SSN & credit card ( no other voilations). WHen there is incident you will get to know the poicy name on the incident violation. Based on that you can create a report.
