What is the easiest way I can make a bootable USB recovery device that includes an image using GSS 2.5?

I would recommend using WinPE and a USB hard disk - you can create the bootable image with Ghost Boot Wizard (make sure you have build 2266), ensuring you have added Vista 32 bit drivers for any NIC and SATA chipsets you need to support, then selected the drivers, before building the wim file.

Image file can be added to boot package using Ghost Boot Wizard under Additional files just click add -> add -> browse to .GHO files and rest GHS files can be burned ina CD/DVD or USB.

If I made a Bootable USB using the Ghost Boot Wizard (still trying to figure this one out as our server is a VM). Is there a way to add and remove files as I see fit. Lets say I want Image_01 on the USB, but next week I'll need Image_02; Is there a certain folder where can I just delete Image_01 and replace it with Image_02?

I am afraid to inform you that you have to re-create the bootable USB with Image_02.

You could build yourself a bootable USB hard disk using the information in this article:

    https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/articles/readyadventures-winpe

Add the Ghost executables, and stick different images on the hard disk. Then build yourself some menus (eg batch files) to run the appropriate command lines for the different images you want to deploy.

If you are feeling adventurous, create a GUI menu using an HTA file and then with some WMI code you can auto-detect the machine you are booting from and choose the right image from a look up table.
