Easy to way find which policy is in use when location awarness is ON

The audit report shows each location

    I'm tyring to find out the most easy and the best to way to figure out(especially firewall)which polocy is in use currently when there are 3 location awarness set with different conditions.

    1. What if I dont have access to the SEP client?

    2. Is it possible to check from SEPM?

    Run the Audit report

    Reports tab in SEPM

    Report type: Audit

    Select a Report: Policies Used

    It's broken out by Location, policy type, name, and if it's shared or not

    You can't get rights to view reports? Pretty basic there...

    Just checked with other engineers & you can't see in real time which policy is being assigned. Reports can be secondary way.

    Nope, not unless you actively watch it switch locations based on whatever conditions are.

    You could possibly export the policy.xml file and review it but that will be a pain. Go to Help - Troubleshooting and under Policy Profile hit Export. Open in notepad and review

    Yes on SEP client you can see the location specific policy name.

    When customer does switch it changes in the client GUI.

    SEP GUI --> Help --> Troubleshooting --> Location

    Doing what I suggested will show the location details but going thru that file manually is not fun

    Brian, I did try Audit, dint help me... it doesnt show by location..

    Im sorry. I dint see that. It did tell By Location. 

    But it doesnt show seem to show by client?

    There is no info by client.You would get this based on what group the client is already in
