Hi,

Is there a way to edit the message that the user sees when prompted to allow a DS Remote Control session?  We would like to be able to have it ask the user to close any sensitive material before accepting the session.

I researched this, and thought through past forum posts, but I'm just not aware of a way to do this.  You can do this in pcAnywhere in Altiris 7.  There's a spot for you to put a custom message when starting remote control.

We work this into our process as part of obtaining permission from the user.
"Is now an okay time for us to remote in and look at the issue with you?"
<User answers yes.>
"Do you have anything you need to save or close before I remote in?"
