  • 1.  EHLO response codes

    In Symantec Gateway for SMTP, when I do a EHLO the server responded with current Max mail size setting. In Brightmail there is no SIZE at all.

    I get only this:

    250-PIPELINING
    250-ENHANCEDSTATUSCODES
    250 8BITMIME

    Hi Peter,

    what you observed is correct. I asume you are comparing SMS SMTP 5.0.1 with SBG 8.0.x. Both products contain different MTAs. The MTA on SBG doesn't display the ESMTP "size" extension.
