Hallo geehrte Kollegen,
kann mir jemand sagen, warum ich ein Tape bis zu 3x in der Medienübersicht (siehe Bild) sehen kann?
Ich hätte es gern nur einmal gesehen. In der Testphase hatten wir einen zusätzlichen Medienstandort eingegeben, der sich auch nicht mehr löschen lässt. Ich würde diesen aber gern löschen und alle Tapes nur in "online" bzw. "offline" Medien darstellen.
Ich weiß nicht welches Tape nun das tatsächliche Tape ist, auf dem gespeichert wird. Das ist mein Problem.

Are you using WORM tapes? I
Are you using WORM tapes? I noticed that the suffix for your tape labels are either LU or LV (not very clear from your screenshot). If you are using normal tapes, then the suffix should either be L4 or L5 for LTO4 or LTO5 respectively. See the document in my blog

In this case, your barcode labels is wrong. They are for WORM tapes. For LTO4 tapes, the suffixes should be L4. You should change your barcode labels.

The mistake is, the suffixes is "LU", not L4.
So i guess I have to delete all Tapes and set new labels on it.

Das Problem ist nur, wenn ein Band 3x aufgelistet wird, mit unterschiedlichem Datenvolumen, gibt es DATENVERLUST. Und das Problem habe ich nun: Er kann keines der 3 Tapes richtig selektieren.
