I received this emai.   Ran SEP full virus scan.  Said it found no viruses.  There were several file it could not open & check, most in c:RECYCLER folder which had (shows) three S-1-5-21 type of files.  Can you tell me what the problem is?

Must be a fragement of a virus that was deleted so it was sent to the Recycler, or a virus that starts its infection through the Recycler or a new threat that we're also having. Emptying the Recycle bin would help. Although I can't pinpoint the actual problem.

After virus scan, I emptied Recyle Bin.  I have not noticed any computer problems.  Amazed that I may be only one to receive this notice.

Just to make it clear. You actually have files named S-1-5-21-... and not file folders?
file folders in the recycler work as folders where deleted files can be viewed as in the screenshot I've attached for your reference.

In RECYCLER I have 3 x  "Folder" and no "File Folders" as shown in your picture above.  I was unable to paste a printscreen, jpg, or bitmap picture of it here though.  Sorry.

    They are:
    S-1-5-21-76031606-1381845075-1537874043-1050
    S-1-5-21-76031606-1381845075-1537874043-1056
    S-1-5-21-76031606-1381845075-1537874043-1083

Roger: Nothing to worry about. They're just a holding place for files before you delete them completely by emptying the contents of recycle bin.
