I have configured the SMTP email messaging which works.  The problem I have is that the email message doesn't tell me anything about which computer send the notification.  Please consider adding a text field that could be appended to the email message so that we would know which computer had a problem and not have to check everyone that uses Backup Exec System Recovery.

Boise, Yes, if you install it

Boise,

Yes, if you install it on the client computer there is no way to configure it like BESRAgent@computer.domain.com unlike inthe Server option :-|

Cheers.

Try setting up BESR to add server name to job name??

BESR has a feature wherein you can have the server name added to the backup name, try this??
Doesn't the subject line include the server name?? It does in my BESR installations.

If you go to

If you go to Tasks>Options>SMTP Email, you can set the "From address:" to "server_name@your_company_name.com",  Then, in your email app, be sure to display the "From" field.
