Embedded database won't start

Created: 13 Jan 2009 • Updated: 02 Mar 2009

SEPM and db running on Windows 2003 Std SP2. SEP 11 MR3.

No change to the config, but on 1/8 the Symantec Embedded Database service stopped. I'm only on-site here Tues and Wed, so I didn't see it until this morning.

Looks like the transaction log file is corrupt. Any ideas on how to recover from this? I can't restore the db from backup since the service won't come up.

Thanks in advance

-Joe Wells
