  • 1.  EMC NAS got infected with sality virus

    HI , We are using SEPM and SEP 12.1,

    Our Network fully infected with sality virus including NAS Storage. Even we have implemented Symantec protection engine 7.0 for NAS but its not possible to scan our entire NAS with this solution :(

    Is there any option to scan the entire NAS ?? Is there any option to bring down our NAS and scan in offline with SEP??

    I have heard scan scheduled from SEPM will not consider the mapped drive . Need a best possible ways to eradicate this virus issue.

    Map a drive to the infected share using SEP and run a scan

    Hi,

     

    my network is infected with w32.imaut!gen1 please provide any soluction for this and one more this how we can install  Symantec protection engine 7.0 for NAS.

    You will be better off opening a new tread for this query in the SPE for NAS forum than in the one for SEP.
