1.If my EMM database is down, how would i know it?

Various error messages (Google the following for an idea: 'site:symantec.com netbackup EMM database is down ') and no backups will run. Plus your clustered master server will failover (if cluster is configured correctly). If EMM was terminated because of disk full situation, NBU on second node will also fault and entire NBU service group will be offlined, meaning NBU will be down.

2.If my EMM database is down,Backup to disk will run?(EMM is all abt media and vol database) so disk backup will run?

No. Information about ALL Storage Units are stored in EMM database.
We have in the past referred you to the relevant section in the manual

3.If my master and EMM server(not recommended ) are different. And my emm server goes down. What will happen in that case?

Why are you concerned about this if you don't have this config?
The answer is the same as 1.

4.Where to see emm logs and what happen when nbemm process runs?

a) Use vxlogview for OID 111 (see Troubleshooting Guide for more info)
b) NBU functions normally.

Not sure where you got this idea from :

2.If my EMM database is down,Backup to disk will run?(EMM is all abt media and vol database) so disk backup will run?

If EMM is down, nothing works ....

"What happens if my nbemm is not coming in the bpps process?" - what do YOU think ?

Persoanlly I would first try and start EMM, if it fails, I would check to see if the SQL database is running (common cause of EMM not starting) .

If this isn't the cause, I'd look in the EMM log to see what might be going on.

What happens if my nbemm is not coming in the bpps process?

Is this a REAL issue or a WHAT IF question?

If REAL issue, let us know. We will try our best to assist.
First step will be to get emm log for the period that covers last startup attempt.
Use vxlogview as per my previous post.

We cannot help with WHAT IF....

Is this actually what is happening or is this theory?

If it is what is happening we need to see some logs - the vxlogview for emm as per Mariannes post

If it is theory may i ask why uyou are asking these questions and what you line of thinking is / reason for asking such questions?

Thanks

I believe "doubts" is code for "not real questions, and when you challenge me I will close the thread and run away."
