hello

I find this error in my event viewer , the server OS 2008 standerd

the Netback version 7.0.1

I read about similar case http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH46255 wich is for windos 2003

but i find a defferent

I didnt find the file DBODBC9.DLL in the path <InstallPath>\VERITAS\NetBackupDB\WIN32\DBODBC9.DLL
I find file called DBODBC11.DLL in the path <InstallPath>\Veritas\NetBackupDB\win64\DBODBC11.DLL

is this the same file with my vursion ???

when I open the regedit to check the DLL as writen in the article

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ODBC\ODBCINST.INI\VERITAS NB Adaptive Server Anywhere 9.0.1

I didnt find VERITAS NB Adaptive Server Anywhere in ODBCINST.INI

What do you see in your activity monitor ?

What does /nbdb_ping says ?

Was there any modification done in this server ? any reboot ? disk full ?

Did you check this documents also ?

i have the same problem but

i have the same problem

but the nbdb_ping command showme the database is runing with out problem

C:\Program Files\Veritas\NetBackup\bin>nbdb_ping.exe
Database [NBDB] is alive and well on server [NB_xxxx]
